    Packzi Day!

    It’s Packzi Day! I recognize many of you may not be aware of this, but it is.  As Mardi Gras is to New Orleans and pancakes are to the United Kingdom, and cronuts to Manhattan, so is the glory that is the packzi to those portions of the Midwest fortunate enough to have strong Polish enclaves.     I’m not quite a foodie.  I would kind of like to be a foodie.  I love food and cooking, I adore eating out.  I read chef memoirs and I’m addicted to the show Chopped.  But I’m not quite adventurous enough to be a True Foodie, and try as I might I can’t take stuff like artisenal toast seriously.
